THANK YOU TONY AND DAVE! You are my HEROES!

There's something to be said about selfless acts. These City of Poughkeepsie men in blue came to my rescue today and put a big smile on my face!

Just interested to know how they came to your rescue.

It's personal, but they are awesome!

i'm not judging because i don't know the circumstances, but i usually like to reserve the word "hero" for those truly deserving...

so, i hope they did more than call you a tow-truck or something like that.

I think a hero is someone who goes out of their way to help someone out. These men had no obligation to help me at all! Without them yesterday, I would have had a HORRIBLE day.

Sometimes, it is the small things that make someone a HERO, like getting a cat out of a tree, or changing a stranger's flat tire, or giving your seat up for an elderly person. And other times, it is the big things, like sticking your neck out every day to make the streets of POK safer.

These men do both. So how about a little credit?

I have a few "hero's" in my life that "anonymous" may not think to be hero's. That doesn't dimenish the fact that they are "my hero's".
