one might interpret this as not written to timing at all. but, instead, maybe about the timing... about its significance in it all...in everything...about what it takes, and what it means, to give in to it...about the needle of the minute hand sweeping by, passing thru its arc, one more time, again, the opportunity... about being there to see it...and to let it passbecause the hour is wrong,or take it...because it feels right.and therein lies the beauty of this "letter"... the transcendent quality... the context and scope that elevates it far beyond its simple text.
unless of course it is a letter written literally to timing... which is also a possibility;)
ohhhhhhh anon,i think you know, as well as i, that this isn't just about timing.not that it can't be taken literally...but what would be the fun in that...since this has all been said before;)
I think time might give us a clue on how to always keep moving ahead..because time never goes backwards, only fowards. I speak from experience that going back to something, like perhaps a person or a bad habit is unnatural, and usually brings up bad thoughts or feelings.
although i agree that "going backward" isn't always the best choice...there's something to be said for time not only healing wounds, but also changing our perspective...a circumstance, relationship, or habit can't really be the same if we are different.
boring, boring, let's get some sex talk going... you're gonna lose all your male readers
Key point here: It's NEVER about time. It's about what we choose do with it... how we choose to embrace it... how we master the art of managing ourselves first and not letting outside influences take us places we really don't want to go to....
